CLS 210P Dual-10 Array Speaker
The CLS-210P is a high-output, ultra-compact, and exceptionally powerful 3-way bi-amplified symmetrical coaxial line-source component, specifically designed for medium-sized touring applications and fixed installations. It features two low-distortion 10-inch (dual 88 mm/3.5-inch voice coil) custom-designed low-frequency drivers, incorporating exclusive Malt Cross cooling technology, FEA-optimized neodymium magnet circuits, a single demodulation ring, and a waterproof cone. For the mid/high frequencies, the system employs an ultra-lightweight 10-inch dual-diaphragm coaxial planar wave driver. Its unique voice coil technology utilizes lightweight copper-clad aluminum wire wound both inside and outside a Kapton former, enhancing heat dissipation while significantly boosting the driver’s acoustic output and reliability—while also minimizing power compression. A larger annular mid-frequency diaphragm covers the frequency range from 550 Hz to 22 kHz, delivering a smooth, linear response. Meanwhile, the ultra-lightweight annular diaphragm used for high frequencies ensures outstanding transient response and achieves remarkable efficiency across the 65 kHz to 22 kHz range. By integrating these two subsystems into a single unit, each driver handles a narrower frequency band, enabling superior power handling, exceptional dynamic performance, and ultra-low distortion. This design also guarantees impeccable phase coherence and perfect time alignment, eliminating any potential multi-source interference issues. Thanks to the extended low-frequency range of the midrange (down to 550 Hz), the CLS-210P delivers an unparalleled 100° horizontal constant directivity coverage pattern. Depending on the configuration, the system is powered by GTX-series 4-channel amplifiers capable of delivering extremely high power levels with outstanding efficiency. These amplifiers are equipped with premium FIR-DSP processors featuring high-performance 96 kHz DSP processing, along with a large IPS touchscreen display that includes an intuitive user interface. The GTX series incorporates advanced audio power management controls, allowing users to configure power distribution among channels via the DSP. This flexibility enables them to maximize output by utilizing just one channel when needed. Additionally, optional AES67 and AES3 digital network inputs are available. The enclosure is crafted from high-quality birch plywood and finished with a durable polyurea coating, offering enhanced longevity and robust protection against weather conditions. The cabinet also comes with a range of dedicated accessories, including a versatile 3-point rigging system featuring two front automatic-lift plates and one central/rear point, making it possible to fly up to 16 CLS-210P cabinets in a single array. Moreover, the system can be rigged and angled even when fully retracted, simplifying setup procedures without requiring individual lifting of each cabinet.
